-The exp system is back and better balanced with regard to stat boosts
-Scripted magic and items are a huge part of this quest. There are nine different spells with multiple levels of strength.
-There are 6 (yes six!) 8x8 overworlds to explore with tons of mini- and full dungeons
-Tons of secrets everywhere. This is a Zelda game, after all.
-More to the story than kill the bad guy, save the girl.

I really like the red/tan color combinations you're using in some of your latest screens.
You've got some good-looking dungeons, and between the overhead and sidescroll shots, it seems you'll have a nice variety of gameplay too. I don't see a lot of different paths to take just yet, so I hope you'll go beyond strictly linear layouts (if you haven't already).
