So, is this quest pretty much cancelled, or is it still interest to finish it someday but not quickly?

Interesting and promising, i like the colors of overworld, it make a nice contrast to the subscreen.

I like the subscreen design here; and the flavour text for that status is quite amusing.

I really like the red/tan color combinations you're using in some of your latest screens.

You've got some good-looking dungeons, and between the overhead and sidescroll shots, it seems you'll have a nice variety of gameplay too. I don't see a lot of different paths to take just yet, so I hope you'll go beyond strictly linear layouts (if you haven't already).
