These are the sparkles out of EZGBZ, I messed around with them and made an animation that can be used to summon a treasure for example, but you can simple put it over every tile to give it a look as if it is summoned.

17 frames, 5-7 speed (I'm using 6)
Sunset Backdrop by Colin

This is a backdrop, if you can find a use for it, cool. Uses its own Cset, so you'd have to rip that in.

Super Mario Bros: Hand-drawn Tiles by Old-Skool
Updated: 25 Apr 2009 Posted: 25 Apr 2009 Tags: 16-color, Background, and 6 more Rating[?]: Rating: 4.5/5 (5 ratings) Information:
A moderate handful of hand-drawn Super Mario Bros. tiles, for playing around with big mode and sideview gravity. please be aware that the small Mario should technically be set as an 8x16 sprite for this to work properly. (press x when selecting his tiles during Sprites -> Link). Then, you can work Link tile modifiers as long as he has certain items (aka Super Mushroom or fire flower.) I could have done a palette swap for his fire mario clothes, but I decided his old-schooled White pants/overal [View Full Description]

Super Metroid Series: Crateria Tiles by Old-Skool
Updated: 14 Dec 2011 Posted: 14 Dec 2011 Tags: 16-color, Collection, and 6 more Rating[?]: Rating: 4/5 (1 rating) Information:
Tiles used in Crateria in Super Metroid. There are three csets in total here, though one of them is really just a change for metal objects.

I'm doing this because ripping from Super Metroid is actually quite difficult. steps have to be taken before tiles will even match up with the garbled mess you at first attempt to "rip" as a cset, then realize you have to painstakingly recreate. :P

But enough about that. In case my quest never comes out, You guys will have this.
Super Metroid Series: Green and Red Brinstar by Old-Skool
Updated: 14 Dec 2011 Posted: 14 Dec 2011 Tags: 16-color, Background, and 9 more Rating[?]: No rating Information:
Continuing the VERY DIFFICULT TO RIP series, here are more convenient tiles. This time, Both sides of Brinstar. Not a whole lot to say, but again three csets for both of them.

Red and Green are different level palettes. They've been divided into subfolders in the zip so you can tell what goes where.
Super Metroid Series: Norfair and Ridley's Hideout by Old-Skool
Updated: 14 Dec 2011 Posted: 14 Dec 2011 Tags: 16-color, Dungeon, and 5 more Rating[?]: Rating: 4.5/5 (3 ratings) Information:
This concludes my Super Metroid tiles, for now. Anything else out there, I haven't even fully ripped. I told you it was a pain ripping from that game! Still, with these three submissions, you'll have a vast amount to work with anyways.

Norfair and Ridley's hideout actually use the same level palette, nothing is really split up there. However, The content provided is meant to be split into TWO LEVEL PALETTES:

Palette A: Norfair with brown-ish rock (seen in the screenshot with blue tiles i [View Full Description]
Swamp Mud and Ice Borders by MoscowModder
Updated: 08 Apr 2011 Posted: 08 Oct 2009 Tags: 16-color, Edited, and 2 more Rating[?]: Rating: 3/5 (1 rating) Information:
I was trying to make a swamp, and saw that there were no transition tiles from mud to water, so I made them myself. Feel free to modify them to fit your needs, credit appreciated but not required, do not claim as own, etc.

These work well in the "Dark World 3" palette of PTUX.
Use in CSet 2 for plain water, or in CSet 3 for swamp scum-infested water.
I set all the borders as shallow water (the sprite of which appears mud-brown in the above palette), and the middle one as drown-able water.

Swing Set by Aaron
Updated: 07 Mar 2005 Posted: 07 Mar 2005 Tags: 16-color, Character, and 3 more Rating[?]: Rating: 4.4/5 (4 ratings) Information:
I made these when I was sick. The tiles were made under the Pure Tileset. The actual swing and the seat/swingers were made with different palettes. I used a boy and a girl tile from the Pure set and edited them so that they looked like they were swinging. It looks really cool animated.

Top right: Sword Switch (after hitting)
Middle left: Sword Switch (before hitting)
Middle right: Sword Switch (after hitting)
Bottom left: False Armos (for puzzles or something; you'll know it's fake by the x on the shield)
Bottom right: Block Trigger (self explanatory, but just so you know it's the trigger you push the block on (flag 66))

These tiles are for classic tileset.
Sword in Sand Title by NoeL
Updated: 10 Sep 2005 Posted: 10 Sep 2005 Tags: 16-color, Background, and 2 more Rating[?]: Rating: 4.82/5 (16 ratings) Information:
I've just started learning how to 3D model and this is my first render ( http://photos1.blogg...swrodrender.jpg for real pic).

I thought it might be good as a title background so I made a zc compatible version... although it doesn't look that great.
Sword Pedestal by Kanodaisuke
Updated: 10 Sep 2005 Posted: 10 Sep 2005 Tags: 16-color, Original, and 3 more Rating[?]: Rating: 3.25/5 (3 ratings) Information:
It's a custom sword pedestal i'm using for my game.It can be imported into the pure tile set.
The instuctions for layering are in the image, but I couldent get the swords right so you'll have to make your own(not hard just flip the sword stab animation), when you do the swords go on layer 5, and the item gets hidden under the two pedestals.

Also dont forget to make the red color transparent.
