A great quest!! Definitely one of the better ones.
It looks awesome. I dug the Minish vibe. Everything in the overworld and dungeons is detailed, rich and vibrant. The overworld is huge, too. Its a pretty epic world they created.
It plays well and has a good pace overall.
There are few interesting new items and mechanics that made the quest feel new and original. I also really appreciated the different enemies and bosses.
I thought it was a little annoying that when you died it would, more often than not, respawn you all the way back to the beginning. Again, the overworld was pretty big and all the backtracking was a little tedious. At least it respawned you to to the beginning of the dungeons, but would have been nice to have it do the same when you crossed over into new subareas and caves.
There were a few times it got a little "grind-y" for me, with a lot of expensive items and not a ton of screens with a surplus of bushes to plunder. No grass, either. This always makes saving a little slow and laborious.
While I applaud the different and unique elements in the final dungeon it felt a little too different for me. It was hard for me to reconcile. It felt almost like a different game. I've played through this quest twice, about a year so apart, and had the same thought at the same point. I lost interest. To be honest, though, my interest started to wane a little before final dungeon because the overall quest is pretty long and it all got a little repetitive and lost momentum. Maybe too many dungeons. I like a long quest but maybe a little shorter would have felt a little tighter and more concise.
Still, with all those split hairs I thought it was really good and recommend it!

My love letter to the Zelda series, made from a highly customized Pure tileset and featuring some midis sequenced or composed by yours truly especially for this quest. I can't promise it's the best thing ever, but I will say that a year of hard work and a lot of heart went into its making.

The recent update fixed my only two issues with the game which were the walking slow underwater in Level 6 and the always starting at the first screen of the game when you exit and reenter the game (i know the last one was a design choice but i'm not a fan). Now i feel like replaying this quest.

So I was listening to Eddy's Q&A session, and he was saying that this was his favorite. I've heard of this quest from MANY people, but never actually quite saw what is so "special" about this quest. So now I actually decided to hit a search on the quest...and I see now what there is to love about it.
Mainly...THOSE GRAPHICS MAN!!!! XD
But I can tell the graphics isn't the ONLY best part of the quest. It seems very delightful...and just filled with amazement. This definitely will be coming up on my plan of quests to play!
