Doctor Who '80s Logos by Bayta
Updated: 08 Dec 2007 Posted: 31 Jul 2007 Tags: 16-color, Ripped, and 1 more Rating[?]: Rating: 3.75/5 (3 ratings) Information:
I originally made this because I was going to use it in my Doctor Who quest in ZC. But then Limzo made me a remake of the new logo, which looks much better than this. But I'm not going to let a week's work go to waste, now am I? ;) Anyway, for those of you who don't know, this is the logo from the TV show Doctor Who. This particular logo was used during the early-to-mid '80s. Also, don't bother asking me how you can use it in a quest, because other than to make a Doctor Who game, I have no frick [View Full Description]
Doctor Who Title Screen by Limzo
Updated: 31 Jul 2007 Posted: 31 Jul 2007 Tags: 16-color, Edited, and 3 more Rating[?]: Rating: 4.71/5 (6 ratings) Information:
Beta Link has began making a Doctor Who quest, so I decided to help him and make a title screen for him. I found an animated picture of the Doctor Who TARDIS on the internet, and after some hard work, I managed to get it into ZC. Then, in Photoshop, I managed to use and abuse every suitable effect to create a Time Vortex background, that began simply as purple circles of gradually darkening colours radiating from the centre. A reduced colour version of a photograph ofthe Doctor Who logo was o [View Full Description]

These are some sprites from my upcoming quest.
It includes all of the swords, and the basic 8-frame Link
(1 shield, walking, stabbing and sheildless.)
The cool sword has 5 layers. but if you're running 2.11,
you can switch to 256 colors and *WHAM* instant
sword. If I remember right, the sword is 26 frames and
looks best on speed 6.

DoR Brown Sleeve for Pure Remembrance by Jared
Updated: 29 May 2011 Posted: 29 May 2011 Tags: Edited, Player, and 1 more Rating[?]: Rating: 2.75/5 (3 ratings) Information:
Here is Link form Dance of Remembrance, with brown sleeves!
It may seem like an unimportant Link, but they are in use for Pure Remembrance.
When I first ripped the Link tiles in, the sleeves were all white and yellow, and i'm guessing this happens to anyone that uses DoR Link in a Pure Remembrance quest.

Plus, he looks like the beta Wind Waker, Zelda I and II, ALttP, Link's Awakening, and OoX Link :D

Also, i've added in falling sprites, ripped from a Minish Cap sprite sheet.

DoR Crusted Lava by Radien

With any luck, the DoR tileset will be out within a couple months, but these custom tiles have been in demand so I'm releasing them a bit early. I made them because I felt ZC needed a new type of lava.

This lava is the "crusted and flaming" type. I got the idea for these tiles from Alundra, a Zelda-like game on the Playstation 1. However, they are NOT rips; I drew them by hand.

There are many ways to use these tiles. Some of you may discover that you don't need all of them. So design away, [View Full Description]
DoR Desert Tilepack by Joe123
Updated: 10 Feb 2008 Posted: 10 Feb 2008 Tags: Collection, Greenery, and 2 more Rating[?]: Rating: 4.67/5 (5 ratings) Information:
The DoR tileset was short of some of the tiles I found necessary to create full desert screens, so I have compiled a tilepack that others can use to add a little zing to those desert shots!
I've also included all of the generic sand/transition tiles, so it maybe be possible to use the tilepack in other sets, with a little modification.

Featured are:
*SD3 Sand tiles
*SD3 Sand - Grass tile borders
*SD3 Sand - DoR Grass tile borders
*Sand Trough tiles

DoR Female Hero Tiles by Tursiops
Updated: 08 Dec 2007 Posted: 08 Dec 2007 Tags: Player, Sprite Rating[?]: Rating: 2.5/5 (3 ratings) Information:
Female hero tiles made to go with the DoR palette. Use them as a replacement for Link or as an NPC.

I took care to segregate the colors so that her hair, skin, and outfit colors can be changed independently -- for instance, in the quest I made her for, she has a black outfit and the red/blue/gold rings change her hair color. I've also included a shieldless variant in case anyone wants to give her different shields.

DoR Jumping Bonefish by CastChaos
Updated: 11 Nov 2007 Posted: 11 Nov 2007 Tags: Decoration, Edited, and 3 more Rating[?]: Rating: 4.5/5 (5 ratings) Information:
These are some jumping fishes in DoR, so I thought I might make a jumping bonefish, just as there are some in LttP. All I made is that I removed the flesh from the DoR fish. Use CSet4 of the overworld palettes if you want it to be white. Also, what you see in the screenshot is one of my custom palettes, it will be brighter in the main overworld palette. (However, it is meant for dark palettes...)

Enjoy! :D

EDIT 1: Just credits fix.
DoR Life Gauge Pieces by Radien
Updated: 28 Oct 2006 Posted: 28 Oct 2006 Tags: Item, Misc, and 2 more Rating[?]: Rating: 4/5 (2 ratings) Information:
This is a simple submission that supplies quarter-hearts set up specifically for the "Life Gauge Piece" subscreen element in ZQuest version 2.11's subscreen editor.

These tiles are nothing fancy, so this submission is actually more intended to help with the setup of the tiles used for this feature. The hearts in these tiles are laid out in a way that I believe will produce a heart gauge that resembles modern Zelda life gauges as accurately as possible.

If you prefer a different style of ti [View Full Description]
