i realize far too late that i should have made the caption to my shot "Florette Stuck in Castlevania"

For me, this came down to Anthus and Rambly. I love that Anthus showed us something totally new and refreshing, and ordinarily I would sway that direction. But then Rambly has an impeccably composed and detailed shot with soft, deep blues in the background contrasting lovely specular highlights on the water and pillars. I went with Rambly this time.
