I think they look more like hot coles than lava These are pretty good though.

They're good, as long as you don't draw anything more than a 2x2 block. With that much lava, the grid pattern is pretty obvious throughout. Try to break up the straight lines I'm seeing every couple tiles.
These are pretty good though.
