The weakest thing I found about this quest was the dungeon design. Don't get me wrong - the dungeons were not terrible and there were some good gimmicks (the whistle block for example), but given the effort put into other aspects of the quest, the dungeons felt like they were lacking... something.
The overworld was outstanding in my opinion - there was so much to find and the overworld bosses were a novel touch. I think I found everything except one of the fairy powerups. I enjoyed the music choices, especially for the main bosses. Speaking of the bosses, I took some cheap deaths in my opinion, but I appreciated the creativity and thought some of the names were pretty funny.
By the way, even though the quest was advertised for 2.50.2, it played without issue using 2.55 alpha 116.
