Quite enjoyable a quest, albeit in some cases feels odd. Some of the levels here were quite fun. Level 5 in particular was a fun one to work out, and the final level is quite manageable (mostly).

However, it does feel like some levels were an afterthought. Levels 7 and 8 are quite small compared to the levels that directly surround it, and the overworld is a really weird shape (it's like a 12x7 grid or something).

There's some bugs, mainly from not playing on the version the quest was actually made for. (The middle Level 9 entrance is placed to high, which causes Link to exit immediately, but using F6 continue or just holding up seemed to have Link start normally). That final Ganon battle sucked though lol.

Looking forward to seeing if the 2nd Quest improves on it. Overall, 3.5/5.

It's great. I'd say it starts to feel a little phoned in during the last couple of (tiny, tiny) dungeons, but everything up to that point is some of the most clever game design you'll see in a quest this old with limitations this severe. Level 9 is absolutely amazing, and level 5 is mindbending fun.

This is a very solid classic style quest from PrinceMSC, with a good traditional overworld design and an emphasis on exploration. The dungeons as a whole are well thought out: 5, 6, and 9 are the best of the bunch by far. There isn't a good flow to the difficulty of the dungeons however; the fifth dungeon is the only one that poses any real threat, and the rest are a bit too easy. Dungeons 7 and 8 are also surprisingly short, which is a bit disappointing. Still a nice job overall, worth a play through! 7/10

Just smashed this after 14 years for a zero-game, good quest, but not without issues. There isn't much enemy variety in the game, and they tend to repeat. Also, the difficulty is extremely easy except for Level 5. The quest has no answer for tanking and can be marched through even for a blind run. Generally free of bugs, but do watch out in the raft room as you can get stuck.

this is a pretty well polished quest. it doesn't do anything too crazy and it almost feels professionally done. it is well tested and is generally playable. it is a bit lackluster and there are some slight issues with difficulty and tile use, but overall this is a good quest. ***
