Another thing I see is that to make the walls two tiles thick, all one has to do is use one of the thicker-bricked ones for the top and one of the thinner bricked ones for the bottom.

I've heard a few people complain about the lack of variation among the dungeon sets in the GBC Zelda tileset. Some of those complaints may be regarding non-wall tiles, but I really felt like making some dungeon walls, so I sat down and churned out a few. All of these dungeon walls are original tiles.
As you can see, these wall sets are one tile high and only use four colors. They are colored in the GBC Zelda palette, but they're flexible enough that they will fit into any tileset.

Very practical, nothing misaligned (my main concern when drawing these sort of tiles) and also incredibly well-shaded.
Another thing I see is that to make the walls two tiles thick, all one has to do is use one of the thicker-bricked ones for the top and one of the thinner bricked ones for the bottom.
