It's nice to see such a swath of 16-bit goodness here. I can tell that at least 2 of the screenshots are using the Revenge 2 - 2.50 edition, and one that's using the original Revenge 2 tileset. A hard pick but I chose Haylee in the end. Their colour theory is on point and the overall setup is just sublime.

Such a close SotW, and so few replies to actually gauge how people feel. Such a shame.

 

Myself - This was from technically an old cancelled project, but I'd like to reuse this palette some day, I adore how it turned out.

 

Orithan - Looking good. Some of the new rocks are good for the biome, and I like the 16-bitified Moosh.

 

Rambly - bless your soul, I've loved every bit of this project I've seen so far.

 

Taco Chopper - Good simple GB screen. Nice.

I like the use of the whirlwind trees to reinforce the elevated landscape. The small window through the clouds to the trees below adds a lot. How are there seashell rocks this high up? I guess I'd need to play the quest to learn.

It's Moosh! This is a well-made shot that seems perfectly playable. Nice ground details.

 

Rambly

I always love shots that have a transition of some kind, so I find the combination of the snow on the left and the grass on the right to be very appealing. I assume one would traverse the river with a hookshot? Looks like a screen the player would find distinctive and memorable.

 

Taco Chopper

This strikes me as a shot that could have come directly from Oracle of Ages. I like the overall composition, and I'm glad you give the player some breathing room to move around within. I'm left wanting some other sense of life on the screen, like Link and/or some enemies. But it's a very well constructed shot.

 

A very tough decision, but I'll vote for Haylee this week.
