"Go Gollab: The Conflictions of Morality" by Ambient Silence
Go Gollab: The Conflictions of Morality is a 9 person collaboration that was made for Shoshon the Elegant's 29 contest. Each person has crafted a unique world for you to explore, as one of nine characters. Unfold a minimalist, surreal humoured plot as you uncover creative items, puzzles and bosses along your way to rescue the trapped souls - i.e. us!
This quest is over 4 years old now.
In all seriousness, this is a top ten quest for me. Although predominantly an Ambient Silence quest, the inclusion of Deedee, Moosh, and other users in the collaboration does actually lend this quest to being a mishmash celebration of ZC as a whole quite well, with areas that have a very wide variety of design philosophies involved. While its sequel is significantly more polished and cohesive, there's something special about this one as well that makes it still able to stand on its own.
Hoo boy, Gollab and I have a very entertaining past together, and by together, I mean not together! Literally! This quest was made during a length of time where I had left the community, so in spite of my direct ties to Ambient Silence, I actually had literally nothing to do with this. Ultimately, it was a massive treat when I finally did get to play it, as what I saw was ultimately the culmination of all of the culture I had felt from the community in the mid-late 2010s. It's a very fun time, and I look forward to giving it yet another replay!
