How do I get the big key for Level 2?

Use the raft in the room that you found it in at the right block of the middle row. You will use the raft to go through the wall and into the Aquamentis refight.

I got a superbomb but I can't select it in my inventory. Hope it's not necessary to finish the quest.

It is necessary, but what you picked up is bomb ammo, not the bomb item.

This quest works like quests with "true arrows" often do, where you can collect arrows, but you can't actually fire them until you pick up the individual arrow item. You'll have to get the actual super bomb item in another location so that you can use them.

So how the heck do you get through Level 8?  I've been up the right side of the map, and the lens isnt revealing anything I didnt already know about

Yikes!  I started playing another quest, and totally forgot about this one! LOL

 

Not any one room specifically, but take a look at the below screen shot to see where I've been.  I cant find may way out of here to the other side where presumably the map and a bunch of other stuff resides

Try checking the upper-most mapped room with the Lens of Truth.

A staircase that I just came from, and cant go back down??  I stand over it, and nothing happens

Ok, so I finally beat Level 8, and whatever tf that thing at the end was.  However, entering mini-dungeon 4 makes me think I forgot the magic key somewhere.  Is it in Level 8, and if so, I assume it's in the top left corner of the map.  There were three rooms I couldnt find my way in to

This game doesn't have a magic key. Those 3 rooms do hold a different item, though. You can get to them through a hidden staircase.

Any hints? I thought I had it when I found the bombable east wall in the triforce room, but no

One of the early rooms has a pushable block.

Went back and started playing this quest again from the beginning, and know I need the power bracelet to get the blue ring in level 3, but cant remember where to find said bracelet now
