Thanks to everyone here on PureZC for keeping this superlatives/ aware alive.  We decided to retire this award this year (It's 10th anniversary).  As many of you know, it was a play on my annoying Backyard Wrestling Persona, Michael the Magnificent.  So, when I was a Staff Member, I pushed the award to be a part of the superlatives because I knew it was a guaranteed win.  Just something that I can say on chat, the form, and my backyard wrestling.  I didn't know however, the award would be back the next year, and year after that. lol.  And before I knew it I was an 8-year winner.  That really makes my Backyard Wrestling Ego huge.  Thanks for that. lol

 

Last year DCEnygma won the Sexy Beast award ending the streak.  This year we ended the award.  This video was supposed to come out during the Superlatives, so sorry it is is a little late.  But better late than never:

That was a quality video. Sad that Sexy Beast is now retired and gone, I had an amazing video campaign idea in mind for 2015, but oh well like you said, everything needs to come to an end someday.

And I still to this day worry about the moral implications of people nominating and voting for a thirteen-year-old as "sexy beast."

Indeed, it was fun doing those videos for the 2012 and 2014 superlatives.    Special thanks to DCEnygma for being in the video.  That was a lot of fun, and I really loved your Sexy Beast character.  It was definitely total opposite of mine, but still snobby at the same time. lol

lol, right?  But I think it was the perfect way to end it.  I could have just imagined if I had to do a 10 year streak Retirement Video.  My character's ego would have been so big. lol.  I was glad I got to break him down and cry. lol

Congrats on the 8 years of award, Shoelace. The video is fantastic and I'm glad we were able to have some fun with it. Last year was fun and all, but I think it's important to recognize the guy who should really go down as the PureZC Sexy Beast, and that is certainly Shoelace. Cheers!

I think it was just one of those things. It has been on the chopping block for years and was many discussions of ending it. This year it was discussed again and DCEnygma asked me he would like to make it into a video to officially retire it. I was glad I was able to do that, instead of it just disappearing.
