Report Hand of the Sealed God
Overview
Information
Link is transported to another world, where a king sends him on a quest to gather eight Holy Relics that are said to contain the divided power of this world's god, split up and sealed away long ago. What will happen when the Relics are gathered for the first time in centuries, and will they perhaps open the way for Link to return home...?

A quest that I originally started on shortly after releasing my heavily modified version of the classic tileset, but then later drifted away from working on it (mostly due to being distracted by other projects, real-life stuff, work, etc...) before I could actually finish it. I figured that maybe having a quest project page for this on here may help motivate me to actually finish this thing!
As the current title suggests, I honestly don't know what I'm going to call this thing just yet... despite the fact that I'm partway through Level 9. Yeah, I'm bad at coming up with titles. XD I do have a few ideas bouncing around in my head, but so far... yeah, I just haven't decided. Actually, nevermind that -- the first idea that came to mind weeks ago when I got back into working on this is now the official title (deciding happens quicker when you're in the process of working on the title screen, it turns out. XD)
I'm also not sure if "NES-style" or "Story-driven" is the best description for what sort of game this is... it does basically follow the NES Zelda "8 regular dungeons and then one final dungeon" format, but there's also a story, but there's not a lot of cutscenes (one per dungeon, pretty much), so... yeah, it seems to be pretty much blurring the lines between the two.
Also, once this project is finally finished, I will be updating my tileset to include many (...but not all) of the new graphics, custom enemies, and so on that I made while in the process of working on this quest.
