Overview
Information
Hal, a vulpine resident of Animal Village, has embarked on a journey into the deep mines of Tal Tal Heights to hunt for treasure, which goes horribly wrong and now he is trapped and must find his way out. Collect an array of weapons, tools, powerups and treasure as you explore a rich jungle, a prehistoric world of primal life, dazzling caverns full of gems, a shadow factory and more in this sprawling network of cavern underneath the surface of Koholint.

This is a small quest, inspired by The Great Cave Offensive from Kirby Super Star and the Metroid series, made by yours truly to make something that will actually be released down the track instead of sitting on the backburner for god how long.
Story:
In development, however it is not heavily story-driven.
Graphics:
The tileset used in this quest is the incomplete Firebird tileset. Don't let the incomplete part get you fooled - this tileset still gives me more than what I need to make this quest.
Music:
All of the music that is currently in this quest are from other games, predominantly those from the SNES era. SNES OST is being used in this quest, so keep the .spc files in the quest file's directory when you do play it..
Scripting:
This project is more or less a scripting exercise on my end. There are a lot of scripting in this quest, all to set up features that I view as crucial to delivering a seamless and fluid Metroidvania experience as well as to bring in all new enemies, items and abilities to the experience.
Demos:
Alas, there is no demo yet. However, a short demo is fairly close. Maybe early-mid 2018 for the demo.
