This quest is for experts. A Second Quest Run is required to understand the mechanics and to understand the story of what's happening here.

Description

This is another remaster of my 5th Quest Candidate. This time, some 2.55 features are added, including Moosh's number script, enemy placements, perm secrets, among other things. Some nice Quality of Life Upgrades that make playing this seem a lot nicer. Also, a slight buff to Rupee dropping enemies: They may drop 20 Rupees occasionally now!

Requires Alpha 105 or above. Please do not contact me about bugs if you are not using Alpha 104 or above.

Update 4/9/2022: Requested by the devs to do a stability patch for all quests in 104 and above. ZNR is affected.

Update 3/16/2022: Security, script recompile, and engine bug fix applied. Also more testing features for me applied to the backend in case something comes that I have to fix (thanks Moosh)

Update: 9/10/2021: New Version number installed to verify compatibility with 2.1 line. No restart required.

I'm just letting everybody know that I'm pretty much dropping support for this. ZNR 2.1 will be going into all-out beta testing most likely after the last cutscene (and maybe an extra boss) is implemented.

It will still be left here for posterity's sake.

UPDATE 4/9/2022: Requested by the devs to update any quest updated to 1.04 for stability reasons. ZNR was affected.

Update 9/10/2021: Compatibility patch put in to update version number. This will update version number to 4.0 to make sure your save file works when 2.1 drops after testing. If you don't upgrade here, you will be forced to restart at Version 2.1's drop.

Sorry about the art bug off the bat in Level 1. It has been fixed.
