Overview
This version fixes a bug that came up in the first one. You can no longer grab the sword with a rupee fired from the slingshot.

If there is a way to update the file in the first submission, I'd rather do that than make a new topic for a new demo. :)

A little bit of background:
There is one catch to this: What you see here in the demo might not make it to the final game. Part of this demo is to show off the tiles in motion, and some of the ideas I have, but by enlarge, the areas within are testing areas. The first dungeon was a remake of a dungeon I made in Classic for the sake of testing the tiles, and practicing a bit more with free-form dungeon before I go head in. The same pretty much applies to the overworld area too. The forest area that you can access in the demo (see below for more details) was the first area made with the new tree tiles. Ultimately, the whole map so far in the quest was a collection of screen used for testing. I wanted to incorporate them into the real quest, but I was having trouble thinking of how. I still want people to have a chance to see what I'm working on though before the tile-set undergoes a pretty big re-organization attempt. The palettes are an absolute nightmare, and make it virtually impossible to import new tiles, even for simple things. So, I'm not sure how long that'll take, but I want to knock it out pretty soon.

About the demo:
This demo offers up about 30-45 minutes of gameplay. You can explore a small area around Link's house, and enter the first dungeon, and complete it, which is the 'end' of the demo. The demo also includes a somewhat unfinished area tentatively called "Faron Woods" (Real original right?). This area doesn't really have any real goal to it at this time, but it was going to be where you got the blue candle, which is instead given to you from the start. The houses in there have been sealed up cause they aren't finished yet.

Enjoy :) And please remember that this is a WIP, and a lot of things will be changed from their classic counterparts. This set is being put together from the ground up from the original Classic set.

I remember playing this demo, I thought I already rated this quest. Either way, I'd have to say I'm disappointed. This demo has been buggy despite its creativity. Exiting the first level causes you to reach broken rooms that end up leaving you in a Zelda 2 like overworld, and that itself was a mess.

But I must praise on its unique look though, and wish to see more of this quest.

Finding the items was fun, points for music from earthbound, nice art style, good dungeon layout. I would have liked to have seen a unique subscreen to match the art style, but maybe thats still to come? Keep up the good work.
