Long ago, before there was a Hyrule or a Horulia, the universe was devoid of any life. This was until four celestial beings brought life to a planet. The God of Fire gave the planet warmth and light. The God of Ice gave the planet vast oceans and small lakes. The God of Winds gave the planet an atmosphere, weather, and seasons. Finally, the God of the Mind gave the planet life and intelligence. The byproduct of these events are the Phantasmal Relics: orbs containing the pure essence of the four basic elements. These sacred orbs have been worshiped for thousands of years. However, these orbs can also bring the end of the world. Evils have always tried to steal them, so the royal family commissioned four labyrinths to be created for each of the orbs.
