Sorry, but this deserves an average rating.
*There were simple spelling errors. Did you proofread your script?
*The script felt forced and canned. Though I appreciate your attempt at a more robust story, I'd rather take being left to guess how all the quirkyness came about (as in the original) than be told with crummy scripting.
*The above two comments only apply, of course, when I could actually SEE the message being displayed in between the obsceanly bright flashes of the speech bubble backdrop.
*Your choice of overworld colors is appallingly irritating. I wanted to STAY in the dungeons rather than travel the harshly lit overworld, something I hadn't ever thought I would desire in a Zelda game.
