It might not seem like much, but I tried my hand at some more realistic lava. I would've made it flow too...but you know that's...hard... 
I'm not good at lava or water, but I think this one is pretty good. Hope you guys like it.

Hmm... each frame is just three-color, meaning there isn't much detail, and the dark parts don't interact at all with the light parts. I'd like to see some more creative overlapping here.
Still, you tried to make unique lava, and that definitely gets some kudos in my book.
