Hmmm... it looks like the dots used for the water ripples all scroll in one direction. That's a bit too linear and controlled. However, the water's edge is pretty good. For Classic, at least.
Anyway, that's what I can say about this, but I can't quite get excited about it. I'll give 3 stars, but just remember that that DOES actually mean "good."

Really, REALLY old. Rather mediocre too, IMO, but hey. Figured SOMEONE would get use out of them, so might as well submit 'em.
As for the animation frames... I, personally, used 8 frames at 8 speed, but meh. Experiment with these tiles. That's what they pretty much are, anyway.
