This was a really nice randomiser to play through, definitely good for those that don't want to go through 45+ dungeons like in previous randomisers. The idea of randomising not just items, but dungeons and caves and all that is really cool and something that definitely improves gameplay and experience. The overworld looks really nice actually. I personally don't like Koten, but you made the tileset look really nice with the palettes for the overworld and dungeons (though I do agree with Lunaria on the beach area), and it actually made me tolerate the tileset for once. The extra features you've added (slash, diagonal movement, fast scrolling) definitely make the quest better to play too. I'm also not sure if there is secret content in this quest, but I definitely couldn't find anything, even after checking every single screen in the overworld

I don't really have any complaints I can think of, so good job on yet another successful randomiser. I'm definitely looking forward to playing this again whenever expansions come out. Easy 5/5 from me.

At last, the randomizer that ZC deserves! This quest is a way more interesting experience than the previous randomizers, and it fixes all my complains with the previous versions!

A Classic Edition with classic graphics and the option to disable modern conveniences (no diagonal movement, slash, no broken items..) would be pretty welcome for updates and for people that want a more retro and true experience.

Great work, I can't wait for expansions and features for this new style of randomizer!

Probably the best randomizer avalible for ZC so far, in my honest opinion. Replay value is really high in this one since it's not insanely long, and there are a lot of randomized aspects that will make for a new experience every run. Other than that you have a nice mix of Zelda 1 style gameplay with more modern conveniences (though no space map in dungeons). I enjoyed my two playthroughs so far and I think I have gotten a good enough grasp of the quest structure to say that I like it.

That being said, the quest does have some flaws: The full-sized overworld does not work in the quest's favour. I completely understand why the Zelda 1 overworld was used, since that's where the expectation is. But I think a smaller overworld map around the size of a single BS map would be better size. Mainly since there is a secret on every single screen, the quest is completely flooded with useless secrets. Now, in one way it's nice to know that there is always one secret per screen, that way you can know for sure if you can cross a screen off the list or not. On the otherhand, this means finding what you need (dungeons) becomes a bit of a pain, especially if you find late-game dungeons early, because when you can do them later on you just don't remember where they are. I guess that's a minor nitpick, but it's certainly an area that could looked over on for future projects, or an alternate map for this very same quest? (hrm)

Another complaint I have is the visuals. Firstly, I will say that the visuals work way better in-game than what it seemed like from the screenshots, so that was nice. But I'm not entirely sold on it to be honest. It's mostly the overworld palettes that bother me, I guess. Like, the sand on the beach looks way too dark and muddy (but the mountains there look good), while the green grass looks... off. I think my problem with the grass is that it's either too bright or not bright enough.

But yeah, I'll play more of this in the future, great randomizer, can't wait for the updates!

Fun, all the way up to the point I didn't get silver arrows. Also couldn't get a 2 or 3rd bomb bag.

I may have found a bug, either with ZC or with this quest.

I have tried several times, with various amounts of rupees. I am unable to grab this bomb upgrade. I have grabbed one previously, bumping me up to 20 total. The only other upgrade I got before this one was the wallet upgrade. And I was still able to grab my first arrow upgrade after encountering this.

I am playing the Classic First Quest -Randomizer Returns version and can not find Level 3.
Levels 1, 2 and 4 are done and I am loaded with weapons and toys but for the life on me cannot find Level 3!

Anyone?

this is the best randomizer yet, it isn't bloated with 3 million items or having to do 100 dungeons.

I did find a bug however. I got a randomization with no silver arrow, got 2 items out of every dungeon and could not beat the game.
