My thoughts after a playthrough.
Early on there are a handful of tricks players will either figure out or get stuck on. Once you get past these, the rest of the quest is fairly consistent on the tricks expected with no further curveballs, just expanding on what was already established.
Bomb starvation does occur at some points, it's not worth checking for bomb walls blindly when you have other options available (unless the dead end feels a little suspicious)
Several hints are open to a lot of interpretation, and for me they did not highlight what I should have been looking for or other hints / design choices made the hint feel obsolete. In particular, hints in the overworld for things in dungeons. This might be due to many quests having subtle hints in the map they are relevant in.
Easy mode is fine if you are uncertain if this style of quest is right for you, and rewards exploration with the Magical Sword at the point it helps the most. However, you should know going in that Easy mode is longer, due to switching over to Normal mode at a certain later point. Those who feel decently comfortable with "Nth Quest Difficulty" are probably better playing Normal mode to avoid some repetition.
