I don't make quests but I have no idea what The Satellite is talking about with regards to the difficulty/final boss segments - people hate the "acidhandla" boss? Is that a boss that's used often in other quests? I thought it was pretty clever and kept things varied. I also feel that each level was distinctly more epic than the previous one, ending in a multiple part fight that was more than deserving of how 'hectic' it was, definitely not filler boss fights. I probably can't beat the final boss without being hit by a fireball but there's a 4 dose medicine refill for a reason...

Also at least there's checkpoints, especially before the final boss - was The Satellite expecting a checkpoint right before the very last segment where you just camp opposite of the fireballs? This quest could have been much worse where you had to get through a dozen+ rooms just to attempt the boss again (hi Liberation of Hyrule).

This quest stayed pretty firmly in "decent" territory up until the end, with some fairly clever and competent level design scattered here and there, but was mixed in with some either misplaced or poorly-looped music, generic screen design with a fair share of tile and perspective errors, occasional odd trigger choices, and somewhat cryptic solutions or locations. And the entirety of the level where you get the blue tunic? ... that was honestly not very fun at all, it was cryptic and tedious. The story was also really odd, and I know you said it originally started out as an inside joke quest, so I don't know if the story just obviously didn't translate well to a general public, or if you edited the story for a general public and it still turned out odd.

Still, all of that would have built up to a solid three rating, but what killed it for me was the end of the quest, and by that I mean the endless, mind-numbing boss rush at the end. That just lasted far too long and wasn't any fun. The bosses in general were pretty lackluster, but several Wizzrobe fights was very bland, then you committed the cardinal sin of using the Acidhandla boss; despite what you may believe, the Acidhandla is pretty despised as a terrible boss, and with good reason. Finally, you have a slightly confusing and way too hectic final boss fight with far too many fireballs being shot, and if you mess up in the final phase you have to do it all again? Not very cool.

That was what in the end dragged my rating down from a three to a two; if the quest had just been allowed to end, it would have stayed a three, but the endless string of boss fights just felt like needless filler for the sake of extending the quest's play time. You do have some good ideas in here, but there's plenty of questionable and downright bad ones as well. However, if you plan to do a sequel as the ending suggests, hopefully this quest will be a learning experience for you on how to make a better one. :)
