Quest made in ZC 2.5.
Here are facts about this quest, wich you should read before playing!!
- This quest is only about fighting enemies, so if thats not for you, go away ;D
- You can choose between German and English.
- At the beginning you can choose one out of seven characters.
- Those are Hero, Druid, Mage, Blocker, Berserc, Warlock, Ninja and theres one secret character you dont know.
- Press the MAP button to return to the character selection menu!!! <- Good to know
- There 6 levels and a final level.
- If you loose all your HP (hearts), you die. Then you have to restart the level.
- EVERY character has a sword and a magic wand. The magic wand uses MP (mana points).
- EVERY character can slash.
- EVERY character also has a chance to land a critical hit, wich is only for the sword attacks not the magical attacks.
- No diagonal movement, this time!!
- You can save whenever you want. And you should, if you take a break from the quest. When you finish the quest with one character you get a medal for that character. When you have all medals, you have finished the quest 100%!
The Zip file also contains the important character table, where you can see the stats of all characters, like MP, HP, Magical Power, Sword Power, Movement, and more.
The characters:
-Hero- Difficulty: Easy
This is the character from the screenshot . As you can see he has lots of HP but is lacking MP and magical power. His strenght is close combat, as he can deal great damage with his sword.
-Druid- Diffictulty: Normal
A very balanced character, although his sword attacks are not the best. His great advantage lies in its special ability "Natural Regeneration", wich slowly increases his HP, permanently.
-Mage- Difficulty: Normal
While his sword attacks are really weak, his magical power is incredible! This character's strenght is ranged combat, using his magic wand he can beat all his enemies. His ability "Recovery of Spirit" slowly refills his MP, permanently.
-Blocker- Difficulty: Normal
This mysterious character has lots of power, his sword attacks are almost as strong as the Hero's sword attacks. His magical attacks however, don't do any damage! Instead they block the enemie's movement for a short amount of time (he stuns enemies). Also, he is one of the few characters who have a shield.
-Berserc- Difficulty: Normal
Another very balanced character, with a great ability. You can press L to turn on the "Berserc-Mode", and R to turn it off. In Berserc-Mode, your sword deals doubled damage!!, but you will instantly die if you get hit in this mode, so it's a great risk. You have to think about when you use it, and when you don't.
-Warlock- Difficulty: Hard
The HP and MP of the Warlock are pretty low. However, the Warlock has a helpful special ability, the "Heart-Mana Transfer". By pressing L or R, he can use this ability to turn 1 MP into 1 HP to heal himself, or to sacrifice 1 HP to get 1 MP at will, so he can do more magical attacks.
-Ninja- Difficulty: Hard
This character can run faster than all others! It is easy for him, to dodge all dangers. He also has a high chance of landing a critical hit with his sword, even though the damage bonus is not very high.

Tips & Cheats
1) If you accidently select a wrong character in the character selection menu or want to play another character, the MAP button will always bring you right back to the character menu. You will start from level 1 again.
2) Never forget to save when you stop playing! You can save whenever you want and when you beat the quest with all 7 characters, the 8. character will be unlocked. Complete the quest with him and you have 100% finished Fight the Monsters II.

Though big games might include more stuff this one cannot give you, for a short enjoyable game it is perfect.
Also I cannot even imagine how to create such a game in ZC

A good job and great ideas like the predecessor, but overall I can't say it's an improvement, thus 3 stars for a good but flawed effort in some elements. I do like the concept of choosing different characters with their separate strengths and weaknesses, although the exploitation of life and magic regeneration in two the the characters does allow for some abuse that makes the game much easier (especially the druid with life regeneration) by waiting it out after you clear a wave. Instant death in berserk mode from one hit is going too far to the point that it isn't worth using at all, thus a better option would have been death after a maximum of 3 or 4 hits in such a mode. Still significantly more than usual damage, but not to an insane degree.
Most of the stages are easy or a minor challenge for me, with level 6 being the right amount of challenge for the time that you reach it, but the final boss I found to be a ridiculous spike in difficulty compared to the rest of the game, in a way that maybe wasn't all that well thought out. The final boss I find to be overpowered to the point where certain character types will have a near impossible time at defeating him. The fire power is very rapid and occupies a lot of floor space at one given moment, making avoiding him sometimes nearly impossible, even with proper anticipation. I don't find that to be a clever form of difficulty. Just difficulty for the sake of being difficult. That is, unless I am failing to find a weakness. Otherwise, it's just dodge the best you can, and hope to land a hit at the right moment, and repeat the same many many times over. FTM 1 had better difficulty balance and progression than this, which I think may have been put on the backburner in response to a much stronger focus on the added combat style choices. Great job on the enemy choices, although a few better mixes of enemies combined with more enemy types would have made the game a little less repetitive.

This was really fun! I liked the variety of characters, they all played fairly different. You should definitely make a sequel 
I liked the graphic effects like when you got the piece of power, or when you went berserk. It was a very nice touch.
Some suggestions:
Like the others said, it does get a bit repetitive. I don't think that introducing randomness is the solution here. Instead, I think just increasing damage in general is the way to go. Das ganze hat mir Spaß gemacht und habs trotz Wiederholungen ohne große Pausen durchgespielt.
Beim Druiden und beim Zaubere würd ich die HP/MP runtersetzen, beim Benutzen des Portals das jeweilige komplett auffüllen lassen und, wenn der entsprechende Wert voll ist, den Schwertschaden erhöhen. Solange HP bzw. MP voll ist, könnte entsprechende Leiste blinken wie beim Berserker.
Beim Helden, Berserker, Blocker, Ninja und Gott könnte man die Wirbelattacke hinzufügen, die bei Benutzung doppelten Schwertschaden macht und einen Energiepunkt kostet. Dafür würde Blocker Bumerang, Gott Feuerbumerang, Ninja Bomben und Berserker/Held Bogen bekommen.
Beim Berserker wärs toll, wenn man mit L und R beide an- und ausschalten kann und das ganze auch ein bisschen schneller, dazu noch lediglich ne Verdoppelung des Schadens. Außerdem könnte der Berserker im Berserkermodus mitm Schwert strahlen werfen.. Ninja könnte gegen Energiekosten unsichtbarkeit und Unverwundbarkeit gegen Energie erhalten erhalten (kann dann aber nicht angreifen). Außerdem wär einer mit Hammer interessant. Druide und Zauberer könnten beide Nayrus Schild als L/R haben.
Das Triforce find ich allgemein ziemlich ätzend. Erstmal die Textkeule am Anfang und am Ende, und außer beim Gott fand ichs auch den Effekt nicht so besonders. Wenns Schwertschaden war, wars nützlich, aber bei fast allem anderen war der Effekt völlig überflüssig. Der Gott könnte seins als Standardfähigkeit bekommen, die aber pro Gegner ein Herz abzieht und nutzlos gegen die Bosse ist.
Geschwindigkeit, Kritschaden und Bonusschaden würd ich weglassen, dafür wieder die Anzahl der Wellen und n Zeitzähler, der bei jedem Starten neu gestartet und für jede Spielfigur die Bestzeit speichert, wär natürlich genial.
Den Endboss fand ich gut, hat aber zu viel Leben, nach so 10 Versuchen hat man mal das Glück, das man auf ihn eindrischt ohne das sein Angriff trifft. Ggf. Wirklich einfach weniger Lebenspunkte und so 3-4 Wellen vorher.
Für mehr Abwechslung würd ich die Level aus dem Vorgänger einfach auch noch mit reinbauen. Außerdem könnten die Reihenfolge und die Auswahl der Level Spielfigurenabhängig sein. Auch find ich das finale Leveln mit allen Karten im ersten Teil toll.
Weiterhin gibts ja mehrfach geschlossene Türen. Wenn man den Boss besiegt hat, könnte man die Tür aufgehen lassen und der Spieler hat die Wahl: zum nächsten Level oder durch die Tür. Hinter der Tür wartet dann ein Boss, der z.B. n Herzcontainer hinterlässt, aber wenn man verliert, muss man das Level von vorn beginnen.
Weiterhin könnte man das ganze Spiel in zwei Stufen einteilen:
Alle Spielfiguren durchspielen, Goldmünze erhalten und Gott freispielen. Sobald der Gott die Goldmünze freigespielt hat, gibts für alle Charaktere 5 Bonuslevel und n Extra Boss. Wenn man den schafft, kriegt man Platinmünze, hat man die mit allen Spielfiguren gibts noch wen neues (z.B. mit Hammer) der bedonders schlecht ist. Wenn man mit dem Platin hat, ist das Spiel geschafft.
