Ok.... but looks like MORE shading and more time to work this can be good.... I don't like it... sry but I think little more time can make is better.

They're shaped more like puffy boomerangs than hearts... I'd make the tip at the bottom pointier, and... uh... do what LTM said, I guess.

These are okay. Not anything to brag about though. For the sections, you need something really to outline it with, as in, have some shading to make it look better, and not just cut off.
