Do you believe in things because they're real, or are they real because people believe in them?

That's the main philisophical question behind the game. A god, or a world might as well not exist if no one believes in it, right? In this story, the children of peoples' imaginations not only exist, but are seen as a normal occurence. The more somebody believes in something, the more real it is. Therein lies the problem.

A great evil is sweeping through these worlds like a storm. People are simply becoming to jaded to believe in what they've created, and as such, worlds are falling apart, and soon, the whole universe will too.

And of course this is where you come in. This great evil wants to steal the very soul of the world. Not just the world you live in, but every single world in all of creation. Your only hope of defeating him is to use his own power against him. Many years ago, a trident belonging to this evil one was lost in the abyss between worlds. It's up to you to find it and bring him down.
