They aren't bad graphics by themselves, but they don't look like they'd fit in well with the classic tileset. I don't know, but something seems just a touch off.

These are actually really good.
This is exactly how they worked back in the NES.

You should shade these a bit more to make them fit better. There are individuals like Cukeman and Lightwulf that can help you out. Some edges need to be defined better as well. I can see you tried, however. Improve the graphics and update them so that your tiles can have a better standing in the community.
