Information
I got permission after seeing these from The Satellite to edit these a little and post them up for your enjoyment. I tweaked the sprites here and there, and while I didn't do much, I may, provided people actually want it, add additional tiles like slash and swimming. (Swimming wouldn't make much sense though...Being all armored up and stuff.
)
There's two files included, a png and a bmp. Use whichever you want. It should rip right into the classic set, though it should not be hard to recolo [View Full Description]

Permission was indeed given, yes. That aside, I can't believe it took me this long to rate them. Nice job, Dan. I'm thinking they could use a slight bit of detail on his arms when they're upraised now that I look at them again, but otherwise, they look pretty good even with the limitations. Good job, Dan.

These tiles aren't bad at all, but they are missing some sprites, including swimming, slashing, casting, jumping, and charging. And in regards to what Koh said, I disagree. :/ Because for example, some robot masters in the NES Megaman games, as well as Megaman 9 and 10, use five colors instead of 4. Of course, Needle Man from MM3 uses 6 colors, while Plant Man from MM6 uses 7 colors.

Reminds me of Exate's old Darknut Wars quest. I'm only rating it down, because the mirror shield breaks the 8-bit rule: 4 colors per 8x8 bounding box. Get rid of that, and you could pop these into an NES hack. Of course, that's a user fix, but still, it destroys the real 8-bitness of the classic set. And I'm not putting it all on you, whoever thought of using that shield on Classic Link failed big time.
