PCGamer recently wrote an article about ZQuest Classic (formerly known as Zelda Classic), and it seems like we've gotten a huge tick in site traffic as a result of that. Stabilizing around 3000 guests currently viewing the site; wow!
If you want to talk with the community/hang out but feel intimidated making an account here on the forum (or it's taking too long to get a registration email), perhaps you might be interested in joining our discord? https://discord.gg/vXUdTaKJdU
Maybe you want to play a quest (custom game) instead. You can learn how to get started here: Playing a Quest — ZQuest Classic documentation, and you can find our database of custom games you can play with the engine here!: Quests | PureZC
Or heck, maybe you want to start making something cool. Just download ZQuest here: ZQuest Classic , and then boot up zeditor.exe! You can find a collection of Tilesets (collection of graphics) at Tilesets | PureZC if you aren't a fan of the classic NES Z1 aesthetic, there's loads to choose from!
We hope you enjoy this small little corner of the internet where we make games as a hobby.

Hello new friends! If you happen to be one of Nintendo's lawyers passing by, please be aware that we do not permit you to cross the threshold. Please see yourself to the side room we've filled with grains of rice for you to count. It's just past the moat of running water next to the garlic patch.
