For anyone wondering about my screenshot:
It's from a contest quest I attempted and was unable to finish. I've been slowly chipping at it as a side thing since while I work on my other projects.

I'll announce more details once I'm far enough along that I am confident that I can finish.

Wow, tough week for sure.

 

Zeron: A nice, basic screenshot. Nothing really stands out -- and that's the reality of a quest. Not a bad thing.

 

Twilight Knight: My pick for the week. It's a nice, readable and playable fort shot. Makes me wanna play real bad.

 

Orithan: My second choice for the week. I love the composition of the screen as well as the custom graphics. I'd love to see more of this!

A lovely dense and snowy forest, I really like the atmosphere. To be nitpicky it doesn't make sense to me that some trees are frozen, but most aren't.

Those custom tiles look great, a whimsical cartoony style. I also like this screen a lot design wise with some elevation and many ways to go. I'd only complain that the cracks in the stone all have a lot of black pixels in them, but the stone tiles in your quest normally don't, making those cracks stand out a lot.

Thank you, I'm glad that you liked it. The reason for the frozen trees is simpler than you'd think. I only noticed a day or two ago that they're frozen, rather than just white.

 

 

I'd give talk about the other shots, but you two pretty much covered everything. I can't think of anything to add.
