Hello! Before we get into the actual poll, I have some news to share about the future of Screen Rebirth:

Screen Rebirth will be continuing into 2026. There will be no hiatus. Hubydweyer and I will still be retiring from hosting the contest, but we've decided to pass the contest on to two new hosts: Please welcome Moosh and skateboarder11 as the new Screen Rebirth hosts! I'm very excited to have them on board, and I have a lot of faith in them as the new stewards of the contest. I'm confident they'll do a fantastic job.

Thank you to the staff for giving me the opportunity to host this contest. I was always very fond of seeing what creative things people do with the base screens, and while there's things I wish I'd done differently, I'm still happy with my role in reviving the contest from dormancy into what we have today. Thanks, too, to Hubydweyer, for being an excellent cohost. I really enjoyed working with him, and he always made the contest's base screens and challenges weirder, more interesting, and more creative.

A few changes to the contest's rules and format will be coming with the change in management. Stay tuned for more information on that.

Gorgeous screens this week. 

 

Sephiroth, normally I don't enjoy screens that copy almost tile for tileset in screen rebirth contests. However.... you've always got me wrapped around your finger.

This is a very tough Screen Rebirth, every screen is so good! I went with Haylee, I think its unique aesthetic gave the screen a slight edge over the others.

I would have voted for Haylee. Great reimagining. I'll have to up my creative game.
