Ladies and gentleman, we have come full circle, now returning to the community poll once more! It's actually looking a bit on the thinner side this time around, as there has actually been fairly little submissions since the last time, and a number of community picks were chosen in the polls. With that said, let's see what we've got!
#1:
SCKnuckles Worst Nightmare by Eddy
Estimated Playtime: 8-10 Hours
The quest is a fairly short and fun, albeit linear, dungeon romper originating from the early 2.50 era. I remember every dungeon being fun and having something that stood out at the time, the overworld flowed quite nicely for what it was and the music choices were fun and catchy (and gave me a lot of nostalgia the first time I played it). It was fun seeing SCKnuckles' humour and jokes being translated to a ZC quest with the charm the Amy Rose series had. I remember it being pretty relaxed on the difficulty but it could just be me and that others had a harder time with it.
While some parts of it have not aged well, I still maintain it's a fun dungeon romper that shamelessly wears what it is on its sleeve. And importantly, I want an excuse to replay it and an excuse to reevaluate my review on it.
#2:
Nostalrul Plus by Haylee
Estimated Playtime: 5 Hours
If you've been keeping up with Quest Club, then you might have played Nostalrul. I'd like to put forth Nostalrul Plus, a high-quality remake that changes and adds a lot of cool things. Like the original, it is fun and reasonably sized making it very accessible to play.
#3:
One Screen Gollab by Ambient Silence
Estimated Playtime: 8 Hours
One Screen Gollab is the follow up to Go Gollab. It is a medium sized quest with four main dungeons and a ton of side content. A great number of people contributed to this quest, and I feel it deserves a spot in Quest Club.
#4:
A Tribute to Yeto's Quest by TheOnlyOne
Estimated Playtime: Variable Playtime
A Tribute to Yeto's Quest is a very different quest compared to most things ZC. It's open ended puzzle solving in a way that not even Zelda games ever really tried to be. You need to think on your feet, as well as outside of the box in order to get through the adventure. In some ways I do feel like the quest better captures the intent of Zelda 1 than any other more traditional dungeon romper: It's a quest meant to be played cooperatively. I don't think this is a quest that should be played while talking to someone that has all the answers, bur rather a quest you should sit down and play as a group of friends; solving it's many mysterious together.
It's absolutely a quest I feel gets overlooked, especially so because of its name. Ergo I feel like Quest Club is the perfect opportunity to shine a spotlight upon it. It's not for everyone, but it's something I feel everyone should at least try to see whether or not it is; you might be surprised.
#5:
Golvellius la Quete du Second by wonderboy.bobi
Estimated Playtime: 10+ Hours
One of the few quests I played. I quite enjoy it because of the classic feel and nostalgia. Probably has to do something with the sound effects.
#6:
Legend of Amy Rose 3 by Eddy
Estimated Playtime: 10+ Hours
One of Eddy's newer quests, The Legend of Amy Rose 3 is a re-imagining of Labyrinna and Oracle of Ages in ZC featuring Eddy's "favorite" Sonic protagonist,
SonicAmy Rose and the Sonic characters and shenanigans that come with her. It was a lot of fun, introduces a lot of cool ideas and it would be fun to revisit for the sake of Quest Club.
#7:
1st Quest by Shigeru Miyamoto
Estimated Playtime: Zelda 1
Now I'm not sure what the policy regarding banned members quests being nominated for Quest Club is, but I think it would be a pretty interesting one to look at.
(In all seriousness I think taking a look at the game that gave life to Zelda Classic to begin with could be cool to do for Quest Club, and I'd genuinely be interested to see people play / share thoughts on Zelda 1).
NOTE: Should we do a QC for 1st Quest, playing any remake of 1st quest is a valid option as well.
#8:
Journey into the Novel Ruins by Kifstopher
Estimated Playtime: Variable Playtime
Journey into the Novel Ruins would be an awesome Quest Club addition as it seems to be a quest designed around exchanging notes and figuring out its mysteries. I think it would be a very unique experience for Quest Club and based on the little I played (I need to finish this quest still) it seems it will be a fun one too.

As next month is December, scheduling will be a little more altered for the sake of the Holidays, so it's fair to say any of these works as an event this month.
If anybody has a quest that they'd like to see in Quest Club, you're encouraged to post in the Quest Submission Dropbox! We're starting to get a little thin on community submissions, so more would be much appreciated! When submitted, it's appreciated that you put both your reasoning for suggesting the quest, as well as the estimated playtime of the quest for the sake of event scheduling!
I look forward to see what the community wants to play this time around! It's good to be back.
