Hello guys and welcome for the new quest project of 'Dreams Realm The Rebirth of Arthos'.

As you surely know, this quest is a major updated version of my original quest Dreams Realm, and i have added alot more stuffs, fixed many problems, and reworked in some of my old dungeons to make a better version of theses, and new bosses is added too.

There will be alot of stuffs that will changes with the exceptions of the dungeons created by TheRock, and i'll also do some clean up of some of unused musics, or remplaces the old musics with new ones.

Althrough, while many of my dungeons will have some rework, i've also heavily expended the post game contents, but i will let you find it out once this updated quest will be releases.

It is also planned that to rewrite the whole lore of the quest.

I still don't know if i'll modify or doing some rework in the first overworld completely it's still unsure.

Anyway, for showing some changes, here's some screenshots i've taken. Included thoses from some tests when i started the major update. I hope you'll like it.

i don't know yet. It'll depend how much reworks i'll work on it's difficult to say as for now. But i'll make a new demo for the updated quest once the new intro is done, so players will see the changes i've done. I'll maybe make the demo end after the third dungeon just like in the original quest.

The screen clips look great.  I loved the first one, and I know the updated version will be just as good if not better.  Keep up the great work.

Of all the quests I've played so far (around 60), Dreams Realm is by far the one where I found the greatest amount of wasted potential. It's a massive and incredibly ambitious quest, with an overwhelming potential to outshine them all, but it suffers from a concerning lack of polish, testing, and balance (and sometimes consistency), which overshadows what could be a top-tier experience.

 

If there's one quest that truly deserves and needs professional treatment, it's Dreams Realm. It could easily become a benchmark quest, as there's an immense amount of creative value and default attention to detail here. I've always thought this quest would be on an entirely unreachable level if it were given the care and attention it deserves, because its flaws stem from an extraordinary level of ambition — and a project this ambitious requires a polishing and testing process to match.

 

That said, I'm very glad this project exists (it's my favorite "flawed quest" on all of PureZC), and I want you to know that you have my full support, because I'm absolutely sure of the immense value of Dreams Realm as a work of art. I love your work in general, not just Dreams Realm (especially the wonderful Cambria: The Lost Worlds by TheRock), and I believe you have overwhelming talent to create something truly great here.
