• In all seriousness, this is a solid turnout. I did vote for Jenny, as I love this sort of modernized Pure look.
• Joel also had a good showing; the wall and water detail really work for me.
• Notmichaeljfox boasts some custom graphics, which are very cute. I think the screen could use a bit more detailing though, admittedly.

Jenny's is doing weird things to me. It's simultaneously nostalgic as heck for early-mid 2000s ZC (in terms of screen design and the old man of indeterminate origin) and novel looking (in terms of the actual modified LttP graphics). I adore it.

 

Joel's shot is also wonderful. I'm really digging how interesting these classic dungeons are looking, both in terms of screen layout and wall decoration. It makes it feel very fresh despite it technically being the oldest tileset around.

 

notmichaeljfox's also fills me with nostalgia for the early Pure days. The lack of black outlines makes it feel... dreamy? Not sure what the right word is. Perhaps it's slightly sparse, but I love the effect.

 

I actually had no clue who I was voting for when I started writing this post. I think at the end of the day, Jenny's novel nostalgia is winning me over, but man, I love all these entries.
