First, find all 4 spots with same combos as labels by switches: pits tablets, statues and flowers. Then count combos in each of these patches. So we have 12 pits in group, 36 tablets in group, 57 statues and 48 flowers. Notice that digits in those numbers are all different and are from sequence of 1 to 8, Digit 1 is from number of pits in screen, digit 2 is from same number. Digit 3 is from number of tablets in that screen, digit is 4 from number of flowers and so on. By 17, you mean puzzle 17 at the start of Dylath-Leen? There's two switches you have to press Ex1 on. It's not really a puzzle so much as a quicktime event.
