The entry this time around with from the community pool! This time, we have one suggested by Shane!

This quest was made for the Zelda Classic 2013 2 Week Quest contest. It was made in an updated version of the Revenge 2 Tileset(Which I am currently working on a 2.50 version of.)

A fun, reasonable sized quest sitting at around four dungeons worth of content. Before it went woke...........

So goofy suggestion reasoning from Shane aside, this is a serious suggestion. It's my first quest on the database, made when I was 15 (WHAT!!!!!!). There's a lot I'm still proud of here, even if it definitely shows its age in places. It's a very vanilla dungeon romper that can be beaten in about 1-2 hours, and it'll be nice to see how people feel about it now, I suppose! It's intended to be reminscent of older 1.92/1.90 era quests with some of the modern-at-the-time QOL of 2.50. I hope you'll enjoy what I made back then!

A link to the Discord thread can be found here if you want more help on the fly, as well as perhaps more insight on how the quest was made.

Definitely looking forward to revisiting Nostalrul. Always been a fan of this quest. (At least, until it went woke...)

Beat the quest. I've always liked this quest, but this particular playthrough has made me enjoy it even more. I broke the quest utilizing the flippers bug and it led to a very funny order, getting items out of order or skipping areas entirely.

As for the design of the quest itself, its definitely on the tougher side but there are ways you can alleviate the challenge somewhat (without cheating like me) such as getting potions or buying the boomerang. Level 3 is still level 3 but everyone has talked about that at this point.

Definitely among the quintessential 2 week quests in my mind!

Just beat it today myself. This is a fun little quest with the perfect length and difficulty. True to the name it evokes nostalgia for a simpler time of ZC. I found myself oddly in-tune with Haylee's design while playing, spotting some stuff that was apparently missed by other players. So that was neat.
