- 20+ hours of gameplay
- Story that will do more than drive the game
- Many elements taken from Final Fantasy III
- Lots of simple yet head-scratching puzzles
- 9 dungeons + 3 bonus dungeons
- Huge Overworld with lots of secrets
- MIDIs from your favorite game, TV shows, and Christmas carol
- Trading sequence with a nice reward at the end
- Play as different forms, like a baby, or a fairy. All with slightly different gimmicks
- Have the option to play a moogle for most of the quest. A good challenge mode, no rewards for playing it, though.

Note: Do not F6 in cutscenes. The reason for this is because I use a lot of string control codes. You will break the quest if you do.

A 9 dungeon, semi-linear quest that doesn't take itself too seriously. It's really camp and goofy and I love it all the more for it, and it's generally got some fun ideas and execution!

I've been waiting for this particular quest to show up in Quest Club. It's one I started playing a while back, then fell off when life happened. TabletPillow's quests are generally spoken of in high regard, and this one generally gets the highest praise of them all. With a mix of cool ideas, wonderfully campy plot, and some solid 2.50 era design, this one should be entertaining for everyone. And it gives me the opportunity to finally finish it.

I feel like this is one that flew under my radar for quite a while. I should absolutely give this one a go when I have time.

Since I'm rather new and it's the first time seeing/hearing about the Quest Club what excactly is the Quest Club ?

There's two main introductory threads: This was the guidelines when we first made the club and then there's this follow-up thread that goes over changes to the formula after we put it on hiatus for a bit (The initial thread doesn't contain these changes).

That's a much more literal understanding what it is, but if you want a much simpler summary, it's basically something we've been doing every half a month where we highlight a more or less random quest that either fell under the radar or was popular in its time of release and it's nice to just reflect on them.

I've been wanting to make a thread on this for a while, but basically, I see it as less a place to just "play a quest and drop your thoughts" and more a place to look at old projects and reflect on what design elements can be learned from them. Many of the quests rolled so far are from users who are no longer in the community (this is not one of those), so oftentimes, direct criticism has nowhere to go. With that said, this is just how I see it, and there's no "correct" way to play the Quest Club entries.

There are semi-often dedicated VCs for Quest Club entries in the Discord as well, so there's spaces to discuss the quests directly as they are being played as well.

Oh hey, a quest I actually finished. (At least I recall doing so).

It's pretty neat and is definitely something that is worth taking for a spin for those that haven't tried it. The humor fell rather flat for me, likewise some of the dungeon ideas and stuff didn't do it for me either. But there is a lot of work and soul put into it and it's pretty well constructed.

Been busy all month, so haven't had time to start this one till now.

Played through the most of the prologue stuff. Overworld exploration is fun so far, and money is in extreme abundance, which is good because there appears to be a lot to buy. Looking forward to playing more.

Just finished the first dungeon and got most of everything in the first couple of areas. Couldn't finish the block puzzle in the beach cave. I'm enjoying this quest so far more than my first playthrough back in 2017. I think the writing isn't for me, but I will admit it did blindside me with a few funny jokes which I laughed at. I think the cutscene presentation is carrying the story quite well though, so I'm invested.

I'm about 1/3 to 1/2 way through this.  I like it but mother of god is it hard.
