so apparently my quest is going to be mostly one big dungeon with a few different floors with bosses throughout. this makes making it fun because i have flexibility with amount of items i can use, which allows for cooler puzzles and dungeon layouts. this project is certainly still active. my other project, links legends part 2, not so much. every now and then i spend a couple hours adding some screens. but i am working primarily on this. it is a lot more fun to make, because after all, dungeons are my specialty, and links legends part 2 doesn't really have dungeons...

i am having more fun with zquest than i ever have before. no big breaks until its done, its been that way since it started, and it will be that way until its finished. the only other activity i have going on is programming and this group on musescore where i have to upload an orchestrated remix of a video game song every week. but most of my free-time goes into this very project! i think it will be a great quest when it is completed.

so far, i have completed almost all of the path up to the first boss (i put a lot of time into every screen and there are a lot of them, so it takes me a while to make a part. i don't know how in the world people manage to make an entire overworld and 8 dungeon quest in like 5 weeks )

oh yeah, and it will be a relatively easy quest for the whole thing, with design being carefully designed and alter to be a lot smoother, slower learning curve than say, links legends part 1
