Anthus Plays: Quest 447, by Ben [ZC 2.50.2] (Blind)

Here is my LP of Ben's Quest 447. 

 

It's a straightforward NES-Styled quest with a nice sound track. It is almost as straightforward as this post. It's a lot of fun so far, check it out! ..Or don't.

Part 1

This is a run of Ben's Quest 447. It's my first ZC LP. I'm looking forward to the custom music, and a nice first quest vibe.

 

1:05 - Gameplay Starts

5:00 - Level 1

10:54 - Boss!

 

Part 2

We beat the second dungeon here, and explore some more of the over world. 

 

1:17 - Level 2.

9:25 - Boss!

 

Part 3

We accidentally enter Level 8, and die. Then, we find Level three, but I have to leave to find bombs.

 

1:20 - Level 8?!

8:02 - Level 3, pt 1.

 

Part 4

Return to Level 3, and we beat it. 

 

6:30 - Boss!

 

Part 5:

Here we accidentally load Quest 744 first, then we continue to look for Level 4. We discover a warp ring, find some rupees, Level 5, the Bracelet, but no Level 4.

 

Part 6:

We are still on Namek with this Level 4 thang, tho. I do find a Heart Container, and some more rupees, and an annoying door repair guy. We also buy a better shield. There is also what might be a bug around about 1:50.

 

Part 7

Here we finally find level 4. We explore a bit around the overworld here too. We also find the White Sword here.

 

1:40 - Level 4

8:35 - Back to finish Level 4

14:12 - Boss??

 

Part 8

We go back, and get all the goodies from Level 4 including the map, raft, and find a bomb upgrade that I'll have to come back for. This section is mostly just exploration and searching for the bait, which is needed in Level 5. We also uncover Level 6 and learn slash.

 

7:15 - Level 5, but then I leave, and don't return till the next section.

 

Part 9

We beat Level 5 here, and find the red candle (Finally!) and the whistle. After this, we learn the spin attack which makes finding bombable walls way easier.

 

8:15 - Boss!

 

Part 10

We learn the spin attack, and begin to look for the blue ring. Nothing terribly exciting happens here. I also get troll'd by door repair guys.,

 

Part 11

We find Level 7, and enter Level 6 here. I decide to take a break from recording at this point for now cause I wanted to play more Mario 3.

 

4:15 - Level 6

 

Part 12

This is the beginning of Level 6. I figure out that statues can be pushed across lava! Who woulda thought? Level 6 is continued, and finished in the next section.

 

Part 13

This is our triumphant return to Level 6. I get a bit annoyed, but am relieved at finishing this place, finally.

 

8:10 - Find Wand

Part 14

This is a long section where we take on Level 7. I kinda die a lot here, and forget about the blue boomerang too, apparently.

 

6:09 - Level 7

23:23 - Find Remote Bombs

31:15 - Boss!

 

Part 15

I get slapped around by Level 8. The good boss fight is in the next section!

 

1:30 - Level 8

28:20 - Red Ring

 

I don't beat the boss till the next part.

 

Part 16

We slap Patra around, and finish Level 8, and get a ton of other stuff. Expect the final section(s) in the next few days, and times have been added as well!

 

5:00 - Find Level 9. We explore a small amount of it, and find the map, and compass. It also has an awesome song.

 

We also locate the magic sword, but you need all the hearts to get it. I find all but one heart in this section.

 

Part 17

We start things off by getting a skipped bomb upgrade back in Level 4, then we find the Magic Sword before entering Level 9, and going down the final stretch of this great Quest!

 

1:00 - Re-enter Level 4, but it's kinda boring lol.

7:05 - Get bomb upgrade!

9:05 - Get Magic Sword.

10:25 - Level 9, for real! We beat it in the next part.

 

Part 18

We start things off by getting a skipped bomb upgrade back in Level 4, then we find the Magic Sword before entering Level 9, and going down the final stretch of this great Quest!

I just uploaded Level 6, in two more parts, but Levels 7, and 8 are also done, and uploading. They are a lot longer, but they'll be up by the day's end. Dunno if I'll actually beat Level 9 today, we'll see!

Level 7 is up, 8 is on its way! I will be adding the times in later. For now, they are up. I'll add all the times in by the time the last section is up. This has been a fun quest, and it is pretty faithful to something Nintendo could have made. Check it out if you haven't already! I won't be updating this thread till the entire LP is done, but videos are being added to the playlist.

It's a great Quest, and I had a pretty good time playing it.
