With Halloween and Expo Streaming done, I once again put this quest high in the priority list. So there are some things I'd like to mention that went on with this quest in the background to give people a vague idea of where we are currently and our milestones.
Before Halloween I made it a priority to work on a new town that I've been neglecting last year. That town is pretty much done, with a couple of screens needing finishing.
In November I felt dungeon design was a huge focus and I've been working extensively on another dungeon. This dungeon is a Shallow Water / Poison Dungeon and I'm really excited with how this dungeon is turning out. I plan to have this dungeon completed for beta testers some time this week or next week.
In December, I plan to return to overworld and cutscenes since I will now be ready to begin adding into the story of this quest. If I am able to get everything done I plan to do here by the end of December, I'll be returning to dungeon design to which I am planning to get 2 or 3 more dungeons completed before the summer months come again.
For those of you who are wondering "NewJourneysFire! How on earth can you progress so fast now when it took this long to barely even get two or three dungeons done?" Well you see, until now, I've had my son full time and therefore never really had much time for quest design. He's in school now, which gives me a lot more free time than I had before. I also let my youtube channel take a little more of my time than I anticipated last year and the year before that with poor planning. This year however I am on top of things, and that makes progress in quest design move a lot quicker and smoother than ever before.
Expect to see rapid progress like this as I continue to make this quest grow.

Damn, I live for this sort of shit. Classic-style quests taking on more complex themes than the original NES games... awesome. Love all the screens I've seen so far, really good design and really great feel.
