The temple of time is so far, my most complicated dungeon.

And yet, in a way; it's also relatively straightforward.

I don't feel surprised whenever people get lost inside it. I designed it and I get turned around at times!

Those secrets which don't show up right on the map are tiered secrets, with carryovers from other screens. There's not a lot that can be done to make it where they'll appear properly.

Also, if you don't finish the game in the next video (which I doubt); this LP will be more than twice as long as the one for Balance of Nature! (I really crammed everything I could in here, didn't I?)

Yay! You beat that incredibly hard boss! Without the level 3 potion, too!

I totally meant to put Super Bombs in a chest outside the door to the boss of the Temple of Time at day, but I forgot until you got here.

I have no idea what was happening glitch-wise there at the end and I wasn't able to reproduce the error you had where Link was invisible. I was not able to reproduce it and there are no scripts or settings on that screen which would cause it.

As you guessed, Destiny of the Oracles is indeed part 3 of this series. It has been on semi-hiatus for a while now, but I think I've been inspired to get back to work on it following your completion of this quest. Hopefully, it'll be bigger and better than this one was! (Although I'm not sure how that's even possible.)

So, as it showed in the credits, I did in fact script the final phase of Vaati (the one in the sky with you falling). I myself am very proud of what I accomplished with my more limited at the time ZC knowledge. The 3D-esque cutscene at the very end, I loved how it turned out. Most times in ZC, final bosses don't really have a good death animation other than exploding, so I went full out on it.

As for the story behind it... I was beta testing for ywkls when I told him the final boss felt a bit anticlimactic. So he added the incredibly hard fight on the roof. However, it was a bit unpolished. That semi-smooth movement/teleporting he does there? Wasn't there. He would just "teleport" to where he was supposed to be (and by teleport, I mean just appear there). So I offered to polish him up the best I could. And then I said to myself, "4 phases? not enough phases. I'll script another one!" and basically told ywkls that the polished fight was "not done yet". And then I got writer's/scripters block. And then the release of the update was delayed a couple of months. I finished it just as ywkls was about to release the quest :P ...I'm rather bad with the inserting my content into others quests and not taking no for an answer :(

So I showed it to ywkls, and I recall him being a fan of it? It was a bit difficult, however, so I added in the free fairy/magic drops. They drop right on you. The challenge was meant to be trying to kill Vaati before you hit the ground (I wasn't as good at scripting back then, and I suck at spriting, so I had no real way to show that you were in the sky).

...Alright, enough bragging. Personally, I was a fan of this quest. It felt very metroidvania-ish, and I think ywkls did an utterly fantastic job. Maybe the dungeons were a bit same-ish for the most part, but overall I enjoyed the quest. His bosses were really good for what they were, and I'm honored that ywkls decided to use any of my scripts. I also enjoyed this LP, and can't wait for the next quest you LP! (...you've probably already started the next one, haven't you?)
