[Twilight Knight]

Hi folks,

NTCC has changed much over the years. That's why I've recorded a new video to show the new intro, title and in total the first 10 minutes of gameplay. You can also see the revised donkey travelling system (with custom menus and travelling animation).

I have a question. What would have happened if you tried to walk that path without using the donkey travel?

 

Also, that frozen blood guy sure isn't suspicious at all

Great video, TK! I really love your overworld, story and gameplay so far. I personally think the "item get" sound effect should be removed when you get the sword since it kind of ruins the mood you're setting up for. Presentation overall is great otherwise.

About that path, it leads to the same thing (and some more), but I mainly wanted to showcase that traveling a bit! You can get 50 coins at start mainly to let the lazy players skip the walking part. That walking part is your typical type of Route 1 as in Pokemon. Very easy and it felt stupid to make it mandatory for more experienced players.

 

The item get effect is indeed too cheery compared to the scene, good suggestion. It's like "my mom is dead :'( " > "yay a sword!!!! :DDDDD ". I'll remove that, instead add it at getting the key from the gravekeeper, I think.

I guess he was replying to me because I suspected that guy of exactly that. xD

Yeah, I was replying to Avataro. I was once planning to do a quest about Frozenblood, why he left Argon's warlocks and why he came to help Nargad escape the collapsing lair. But I scrapped that idea, instead this piece of story is in NTCC.
