You have to find a slightly more roundabout way of solving the puzzle that enables you to push the blocks off the buttons afterward to reach the chest.

Incidentally, I thought that was really clever.

So I can't seem to figure out what's up with the Frogger X in the Miasma Keep. I dunno if that's like a late game boss or whatever, but the hint with him "trying to be one with everything" doesn't make much sense to me. How am I supposed to unlock the boss?

This is a very interesting quest, but I'm stuck, don't have the hookshot, and I see that nice bombable spot where I could possibly advance. Where might I find bombs, please?

So I shared some ice chips with my sister and got the water tablet. That is good in all, but what if I never bothered to get the water tablet from my sister? Would it be impossible to achieve after my father kidnaps her?

 

Speaking of my father. I figured the first battle with him was scripted. Scripted as in I am not meant to defeat him and the game won't allow me to die. I didn't bother trying to see if I get a special item for beating him during the scripted battle. Is there a special item for beating him during that part of the game? Kind of like the Venser's Cane from "Isle of Rebirth". If so, I am sad because I didn't make a spare save file.

The water tablet is missable, yes. The even where Oslev kidnaps her is actually a point of no return as far as the endings are concerned. If you haven't done a certain sidequest, it becomes inaccessible, and the water tablet can only be obtained prior to the event.

As far as the boss fight goes, there's no reward for beating him. At a certain HP, Oslev becomes invincible and much faster. If you still manage to survive against him for a set amount of time, you'll get slightly different dialogue and he'll automatically advance the plot.

schoochie: Have you explored the Miasma Keep yet? If not, you'll want to head into the cave north of Gaius after talking to Oslev.

You do get an item for beating him, but it's purely a vanity item just to show you beat him. It is disappointing if you like having a full inventory, though.

Nope. You can change back at any time.

As long as you can reach that pedestal, that is. You might get trapped behind monsters you can't beat, and not be able to make your way back.

I have the rock, fire, plant, water, and wind tablet activated.

 

I have one that my father gave me, but I have no idea where to find the ankh to activate that tablet. I found the ankh in Solot Necropolis, but I don't have the tablet to summon that spirit.

 

I have no idea where to find the other two tablets nor do I know where the ankhs are. It feels like I've looked everywhere. Can you at least tell me the areas where these final tablets and anks are at.

The Ice Tablet is held by the frozen guy in the cave. Bring him a Fire Heart.

The Lightning Tablet is a little harder to get. You have to chase the Researcher guy down 3 times and bring him a Frog Egg, Fire Heart and then a Needle. He's located 2 screens south from where you got the bracelet, one screen left of where you got the Ruby Staff and in the town in Eastern Valley respectively.
