So, I went to load a .gbs file into my DMap (into a brand new, untouched quest file) and it worked fine, it allowed me to select the track I wanted and everything. Then I opened the quest file I'm working on and went to load the same .gbs file, but now the track selection is grayed out and unavailable? What the heck?

Post a link to the file yo are using. You might need to reload it from scratch? Track selection shouldn't d this, unless the music file became unavailable/unreadable. If it refuses to load again, duplicate the .gbs file, with a new name, and load the copy.
The file itself hasn't stopped working with new quests, i just can't use it in my edited quest. It's the Link's Awakening DX .gbs file from zophar's domain. I tried duplicating and renaming it to no effect.
Hm, this is most certainly an interesting problem. When I tried to recreate what you said, I couldn't load the gbs file in any quest I had except for the EZGBZ2.5 tileset. I tried other tilesets, a new quest, and an old quest with no tileset to see if it would work and none of them did. They all load the .nsf file packaged with Zelda Classic just fine, but it appears only one tileset I have loads the .gbs from ZD at all.
I honestly can't figure it out at all, but if it helps anyone figure it out here's what I tested:
Spoiler
Worked:
EZGBZ2.5 tileset
Did not:
New quest
Pure 2.5 Tileset
Adventure 2.10 Tileset
Enhanced Classic 2.5 Tileset
I'm trying to look for what makes EZGBZ different from everything else I tested, I'll post back if I find something, I suppose.
