Don't feel bad, it's easy to do this when you're eager to get it out already. During Zelda 3's alpha testing, I switched to True Arrows about 3/4 of the way through. I also put the Token of Infinite Arrows into the init data to test if this would break the game. I decided it would, but, forgot to uncheck it in zquest.

Thanks, I'm glad I'm not the only person who messes up before I release something.

Demos aren't finished games, and members here are all too eager to rate them, as if they were. They also seem to bbe unable to comprehend how to rate anything, and divvy it up with points/facet. \ I tend to ignore many ratings, and comments, from an assortment of members who I shan't name. :/

Well since demos aren't finished games. They are in need of criticism, bug fixing and general polish so that quest development is going in the right direction. I would argue they should get the same amount of criticisms, if not more than the final product itself. I thought this was common sense. ![]()

That's a valid point, but critique of an alpha/beta stage project, should consider both the stage of development, and the intent of releasing it.
My problem, is that the rating system is identical to finished games, and that people rate demos as if they were a finished product. I can't count the number of times I've seen poor ratings due to complaints about a demo feeling 'incomplete'... It's just silly.
Demo ratings really need an overhaul. In fact, I feel that the uploader should be able to disable star ratings, and that demo feedback should be comment-only, if the project leaders so desire. That might help enforce constructive, and useful feedback.
