Well I was making good progress on the quest, when I looked on my flash drive and it (and everything else that had to do with ZC on the drive) was gone! I'm devasted, I was really happy that I was actually making progress on something for once. I really don't want to hit the inactivate button, but I don't think I have any other choice. Curse me for putting all of my stuff on a stupid flash drive!!! I'm sorry everyone, but this quest is dead. I want to bring it back in the future, but for now it will only live on in our Memories. (See what I did there?)

Oh my... I feel your pain, this has happened to me not once but twice until I finally learned my lesson, but on the bright side you now have more experience and are able to build upon what you have learned. I wish you the best of luck with future quest.

Well that sucks.

Guess you learned your lesson on backing up your projects, at least...

Google Drive is a reliable way to back up your stuff, and you can get up to 15 GB for free.

Sweet, I might try that!

Think about it: You worked on this quest for almost a month, and most of that was probably planning. If you dedicated enough time, you can get all that progress back in a week or less. Next time, back up your stuff :P

I do that every day I make any decent progress.

I've got like 30 versions on my Drive. I copy each one to its own folder on the PC (I name them v18, v25, v30, etc.) then drag the folder on to Drive and that's it.

Dimentio also has a point. I've lost some progress on different games before. And when I go back to redo it, with a clearer idea in mind combined with the experience of building and testing it the first time, it's almost always better than my original attempts, as well as quicker since I know exactly what I'm aiming for.

Because, unlike the old man in your screenshot, you haven't lost all your memories yet :P
