Hey guys, I just want to quickly update you all on where Lost Historia is currently sitting. I need to get this out of my system, so I feel less pressured.

When I started Zelda Classic, it was a dream come true. I could finally stop imaging some of my ideas on paper and actually play them. Even today, Zelda Classic has remained one of my favorite hobbies and I can see this still being one for a long time. But despite being almost seven years in, I haven't submitted a substantial quest that I am hundred percent proud of, and it bothers me to no end. A part of me is glad I didn't release any of my previous failures as most of them were generic or just too convoluted to work with. I have found a premise I kept for a year and a half now and not once have I doubted that this is my most promising idea yet. I won't give out the details just yet, until I have enough progress to show so it's not all bark you know?

But above trying to get this released, I am doing this for my own personal enjoyment. I don't want to force myself to do anything if I don't want to, unless my life depended on it. And as far as I am concerned, I don't think my life depends on completing a quest. I am more focused on school and adulthood right now, and I barely have time to work in Zelda Classic, and seeing that it's one of the most anticipated quests according to Superlative 2014, I feel honored yet pressured. I don't like the latter feeling, and it hurts the quest and my status on here. Not badly, but it's not a good feeling in all honesty. And in addition, I am going to be focusing on helping Screenshot: Challenge Accepted in becoming a fun PureZC event and get more people encouraged hopefully!

But I do feel like in some ways, I owe PureZC my best effort in the form of a quest for being such an amazing community who has constantly put up with me cancelling one project after another. This is and will be my final attempt at a project, and I will finish it one way or another. And to make up for it, this quest will have no password, and all tiles and content will be available upon release or cancellation! That's right, even if I do cancel it, I will be releasing what I have in hopes that others might be inspired or even use some of my work. But until then, I respect that people wait patiently until either release or cancellation does happen... hopefully the former in this case. With such limited time nowadays, I am working harder than ever.

Thanks for reading my random rambling. I just need to get this out of my system. I am working on this slowly, getting a firm grasp of the direction I want to take this project in from a design and gameplay perspective. More information will be revealed later. I also just wanted to advertise that this project page is a thing and has already gained 14 followers... insane. Thank you so much for all your support so far, and in advance.

In case you need the support userbar, here it is! And with that, enjoy your day/night!

I really do wish you the best of luck in this final attempt. I hope this attempt works out for you, because I really want to see this completed and I'd love to play it. If you ever come across issues, I'll always be there and will always be happy to help you out.

I'm defiantly going to support this quest. :0) hOnK, that is if I can figure out why I can't copy and paste on this site.

No need to worry Shane. It is better to cancel a project than to release a project that doesn't have you full approval. Besides, there are plenty of other quests on the database for people to play, so we are not running out of quests any time soon.

Playing Zelda Classic and creating games is only half of what makes Zelda Classic so great. The other half is the community. You play a large role in the community.

I kinda already knew most of this. I definetly understand that ZC is only a hobby and you're not doing this because you have to. :) You shouldn't feel pressured, even when people are supporting and looking forward to your quest.

So good luck! And also congrats on becoming S:CA staff.

Thanks everyone! I'm glad my position with this quest is understandable. While I am indeed focusing on transitioning to adulthood, and branching to new hobbies (*cough cough* Let's Plays *cough cough*) I will be steadily making progress nonetheless.

Staying motivated is incredibly challenging and making anything takes tons of work! As long as you're having fun you're good though~

Whether you finish or not it aught to be grand!! *thumbs up* ^^

Just giving my little "GOOD LUCK" message here, don't mind me, Shane.

so we are not running out of quests any time soon.

That random quest button does wonders.
