I have uploaded beta 3, which contains all the main, bonus, and postgame content. There are now 9 preset item options to enjoy, and I'll probably add 1-2 more before releasing the quest, but everythng else should be complete.

At this point, I just need to know the following from any playthoughs:

Did you get all the items and obtained the 9999 rupee chest?
Did you perform the above in any of the item presets?
Did you find any bugs in the postgame?

Once I've added a few more item presets and I get some feedback, I'll release the quest. For those waiting for the finished version, thank you for your patience. This is going much faster than the previous quest.

Anyway, enjoy!

Just a small thing...is 2nd Lv. 5 supposed to be named E, or Z?  It is shaped as a Z.

2nd 5th name is z since it shaped like a z.

When I went in, it was named E, not Z.  Also, a bug, in the lost overworld -- Screen I-3 (9th right, 3rd down from top-right of map), candle secret trigger did not trigger the stairs when I hit it, but when I left the screen and re-entered, it triggered.  Also, left a black square for the tile.

Also, is there no big key, or is it just also linked with another item that I got?  Because I got a silver & blue color changing book, and now my key is marked with 'A'.  Just making sure if this is a bug or not.

First I'll say that I enjoyed playing this quest as well as all of the previous randomizer quests. I do have some suggestions not just for this quest, but for all randomizer quests.

1. Not to make a big deal out of small things,  but I'm not liking the way the dungeons are named. I prefer the way it was done in the Classic/Modern Randomizer quests because it was much easier to understand and it made more sense.

Although the quest found in the Lost Overworld is the third quest, in this game based off the overall difficulty of the quest, it's treated as if it is a ninth quest.

2. I want to see if you can change the color of "-MAGIC-" to a color that matches the magic jars and add at least 4 more jars..

8FyNkDn.png

That blue matches the blue used in the jars.

3. In the Classic/Modern Randomizer quests, there were 3 healing magic upgrades (the potion of life from Zelda 2) and all of the quests after those two only had one. I actually liked the idea of having more than one healing upgrade, but problem with ones in the Classic/Modern quests was that although within each upgrade the amount of healing increased, the magic cost is also increased, which made them less convenient to use. I want to see more healing upgrades and I thought of a few ways to handle things better.

PpQbEgr.png

The upgrades in method #1 increases the amount of hearts to heal without modifying magic cost, method #2 is the opposite, the amount healing remains the same, but decreases magic cost, and method #3 slightly increase the amount of healing and slightly decrease the cost. Also you don't necessarily have to use any of the amounts I used in the examples, I was just throwing ideas.

4. This item J5FngYi.png, which by the way is one of my favorites, restores health by 50% and restores magic by 25% for the cost of 50 rupees. It would be better if it either restored 50% of magic instead of 25%, or restore 25% of both health and magic with the cost of 25 rupees, making it more convenient.

5. With this item DgeEL2G.png, instead of shooting multiple waves in one direction, it should shoot in either in 4 or 8 different directions. The reason being is because this item, as it stands right now, becomes 100% redundant once you get the purple wand.

6. Instead of using the level 2 amulet to decrease magic cost, I think there should be a new item used for the same purpose. In this example, I used 3 crystal balls from the zelda gameboy series and tell each one how much the magic cost should be reduced to.

7. It would be cool to have a 5th hammer that causes a Super Bomb explosion.

8. Add both a kill-all-enemies type of spell and a spell that raises attack power.

9. I hope to see a preset like the "A" preset in the Outlands Randomizer.

These are all the suggestions I have for right now.

He did mention that part of the reason he's been unable to make it much larger than this is because there is a limited number of items available in the game.  There might be ways to work around this, but it is part of why the magic cost decrease has been linked with the amulet, as well as giving a second amulet, in case people cannot find just one.

Or perhaps he can make a third amulet that reduces the magic cost to 1/4?

BTW: I have 'A' next to my key count, which usually means I should have unlimited keys...but I seem to have run out of keys. So I do not have unlimited keys...but I can no longer see how many keys I have. NOTE: I have not gotten the lion key, but when I got the Blue/purple book, the key counter switched to 'A'. Edit: Found lion key, so now that will likely no longer be an issue.

NEW Lv. 9 - Map:  I have gotten 3/3 treasures, flagging it in the dungeon entry.  However, when I go to the area under the first item, there is not a golden treasure chest for this location.  Is this a bug, or a missing secret?  (I have 1/1 for 'M', and that reflected correctly.)
